All aboard (BUS 1) – with Theo & Flory

101%

Timp de un an de zile copiii abia așteaptă dimineața când să audă de la mine strigătul acesta „TOATĂ LUMEA, ÎMBARCAREA!”.

Bazaru 2

It’s the first shout they hear when we leave for camp and they have to get on the bus. But what we want is for this cry to be true – that is, to be able to get “ALL” on board, all the children who want to attend, to be able to attend. There have been times when, because they couldn’t afford to pay the camp fee, some children have stood on the pavement watching their siblings or friends get on the bus, knowing that there’s a week coming when they’ll be alone. Perhaps harder for them was when their friends came back from camp and told them what it was like. We hope and pray that there will be as few of these cases as possible. Hopefully none.

This year we want to go on camp again. To make sure we don’t leave anyone “on the pavement”, we decided to organise two camps (and within a few days the lists have already filled up for both 😊). This year we also have families who can’t afford to pay the full cost of camp for their children. We put them on the list, because we want to take them, and we trust that the Lord can somehow work this out.

The cost of transportation has gone up again this year, and we have to pay €1,700 for each camp. According to our calculations, if we manage to raise the money to pay for the bus, we will have enough money to take all the children.

The first project is BUS 1 for the “Pietrele Albe” camp (Rucar), starting on 24 June. And we pray to God to raise money to pay for it. Next month we will start the second project, where we want to raise money for BUS 2 (the “Valea Haiducilor” camp, Rucar).

If you would like to help us, please pray that we can raise all the money we need to take all the children who want to attend to camp. You can also give if the Lord puts it on your heart by pressing the DONATE button.

May the Lord work so that this year when the cry of “All Aboard” goes up, all the children will be smiling, and no one will be left “on the pavement”.

Thank you for standing with us in this project.

Love, Theo & Flory
