This summer, as in previous summers, we would like to bless them with a special week of camp. Camps are a wonderful part of children’s ministry. A week in a Christian environment can help a child to understand that there is a different way to live, than the one he is used to seeing. Below, we have included a message from a young adult who attended camp as a child, and as a result her life was changed.

It would be wonderful and we would be so blessed, if you could help us take children from the Iasi Good News Clubs to camp this summer.

Goal: We would love to be able to take 55 children from the Good News Clubs from the following villages and areas: Popricani, Scânteia, Valea Lupului, Vânători and Dancu.

At camp I started to love the Word of God, I learned how the Lord Jesus had changed the lives of sinful people like me, and He can change my life too. At camp I met people who love the Lord Jesus and want to live their lives in a way that is pleasing to Him and it was at camp that a seed was planted in my heart that I can be different.
“Hello!
I want to tell you how I got to know the Lord … I am sure that it started at camp. This is where I first came into contact with His love, and I realised that the Lord Jesus can change hearts and I was touched by the warmth of His grace. At camp I started to love the Word of God, I learned how the Lord Jesus had changed the lives of sinful people like me, and He can change my life too. At camp I met people who love the Lord Jesus and want to live their lives in a way that is pleasing to Him and it was at camp that a seed was planted in my heart that I can be different. I saw the lives of faithful men and women, I made Christian friends, I was challenged and I started to make steps to correct my behaviour.
At camp I saw how dirty and sinful I am and how much I need the Lord Jesus. I saw the misery of the world, and I decided to leave the world and it’s pleasures and I decided to follow the Lord, regardless of how difficult it will be. At camp I saw the beauty of being His and how wonderful it is to be His children. It was there that I mourned by sin, and cried tears of joy at knowing that my sins were forgiven. At camp I witnessed how God can change lives and heal souls. I learned to get down on my knees. My heart burned within me as I praise the Holy One in song.
At camp I began to make steps to leave my sinful self behind and to become more and more like Him. Every camp made me love the Lord Jesus more and more. Every camp brought me closer to Him, strengthened by weak faith and gave me the brotherly love that I longed for. At camp I was part of a Christian environment and every year I prayed that I would be able to attend camp again so that I can grow closer to Him. Every camp was a step closer to heaven, a step closer to the Lord Jesus.. besides the wonderful atmosphere of camp and the wonderful time, spent with wonderful people, the greatest thing about camp was HIM and the fellowship received there.”
