All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 1 Timothy 3:16-17

The Bible Exhibition aims to bring to the attention of children and the younger generation the fascinating history of Bible translation into Romanian, with the display of well known old and new Bibles. The aim of the exhibition is to inspire young people to appreciate, believe and read the Scriptures, and then to share the Word of God and what they have learnt with others.

The exhibit will include:
– Copies of the Bucharest Bible (1688), the Vulgate Bible (1760-1761), the 1914 Bible,
– Bibles and New Testaments translated by Dumitru Cornilescu (1924,1925 and others)
– Various translations of the Bible into Romanian (Synodal, NTR, Fidela, TBS, Biblia Deschisă)
– Various English translations of the Bible (Wycliffe, KJV, NKJV, RSV, NASB, NLT, ESV, CSB, NIV)
– Old Bibles in Russian, Danish, German, Azerbaijani and others
– Various Scrolls
– A miniature replica of the tabernacle in the Old Testament
– Tabernacle items
– Traditional clothing from Bible times

The required budget is at least €3,000 and will be used for information panels, exhibition materials, decorations, printing, organized events, promotional materials.

This exhibition will provide a unique opportunity to learn about the history of the Bible and cultivate a deep reverence for the Word of God. After being on display at the Aslan Library in October, the exhibit could also be shown in schools and other locations around the country, giving more children and young people the opportunity to learn about the history and importance of the Bible.
