For some doors we pray that they would open. Other doors, God has already opened and we want to use these openings. He has opened a door for me to help train children’s workers in Turkey, and I feel honoured to be able to go. Perhaps your heart also burns for nations that have been and are closed to the Gospel, and here is an opportunity for you to “accompany” me on my trip to Turkey.
How?
Accompany me by praying. From 9 to 18 December I will be training children’s workers in Turkey, and I ask God to give inspiration and motivation to the students so that they can put into practice what they hear during the course. I also pray that God would open doors for them, but also their minds and hearts for ministry among the children and teenagers in Turkey.
Accompany me by giving. You can help cover travel and training expenses, so that we may say together: “I saw the door open, and I got involved!”
For generations, decades and hundreds of years, Christians have prayed for open doors in countries like Turkey. It’s our turn to honour God by using this open door, stepping through it, and helping the incipient ministry that is slowly growing over there. And I know that this will bring:
- Glory to the King
- Encouragement and training to those we are going to
- Salvation to those they will be going to… but also
- Joy to those who heard and obeyed God’s word, that is you and me.
“Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” (Luke 11:28)
The amount needed to cover this project is 1,000 euro, and we aim to raise it by 8 December.
