As the saying attributed to Albert Einstein goes, ``Light is energy, but darkness is the absence of energy.``
We know that God is light, and in His presence is holiness. When His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, came to His own, they did not receive Him because they preferred the darkness. Today’s world, in which our children are growing up, has become increasingly dark due to unbelief. Our desire is to share the light of Christ with approximately 10,000 children in the Northern Transylvania region.
To do this, we will travel across the counties of Satu Mare, Maramureș, Sălaj, Mureș, Harghita, and Covasna to train volunteer teachers and provide them with the “Light of the World” lesson resource pack. Additionally, we will organize Christmas programs for children and teens in Satu Mare County. We wish to ignite the heavenly light in the hearts of the young ones who need the Saviour, Jesus Christ, to save them from the darkness of sin.
We need your help to reach this goal. Will you pray for these 10,000 children, for the teachers who will present the lessons, and for us to stay healthy during this virus-prone season? Will you contribute from the resources God has provided you?
Last year, after finishing a program in a kindergarten, the teacher told us, “We needed the message of this lesson more than the children themselves.” We hope for similar experiences this year as well.
