Who will go to the children to tell them that Jesus Christ died and rose again?
Churches and different organizations working with children that we know of, are very busy during Christmas time, they have many plans to take the Good News to the children in their area. This is why we were and are very encouraged to work together with many of them in spreading the Good News to others. Yet when we celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus, at Easter, few have the same desire to go and tell the Gospel to the children outside their Church. Our desire is to be guided by Him so that we could reach new children with the Gospel and also to go back to those children we visited in December.
We know that children need to be hearing the Gospel more than once at Christmas and more than once in their life time. But any effort is worth doing to help them hear about God’s plan of salvation at least once in their life time. Oswald Smith, in his book The Challenge of Mission, wrote: Why should some hear the Gospel twice before others hear it once!
Recently a child from a Good News Club said to us: I remember now that four years ago, during one of our meetings here, I put my trust in the Lord Jesus and I prayed to Him! We remembered that day too and now we could talk with him from the Bible about the assurance of Salvation.
Please pray for us so that even at Easter we could share the Gospel through our example, our words, and tracts and also please help us have something sweet to offer to the children.
