Summer ministry is a special time of the year!
Every year, during the children’s summer holidays, we organize different events for children and camps for children is a favourite! Even though each time we are anxious, we have seen how God has blessed this ministry in a special way!
After the camps, we are happy when we see children and teenagers putting into practice what they have learned in the camps. For some time now we have been realising how important it is for Christian children and teenagers to have the courage to confess Jesus to their friends. We’ve taught them how to use to share about the Lord Jesus by wordless book:
“I had the wordless book in my phone case. I wanted to put it there because I know it’s always with me and that helps me so that when I’m ready, I can tell others about Jesus. I took it out of the case in front of some friends and flipped through the colorful pages waiting for my friends to ask me what the deal was with that book. I explained to them that I got the book at camp and that each colour meant something. And I started telling them about God.”
Some children and teens can pay full price for camp, some can pay about half price, some can pay next to nothing. We would like to all of these children and teens who want and really deserve to go to a Christian camp. For camp sponsorship, as well as for the other ministries we have in the summer, we estimate that the amount needed is €3,400
