At one of our recent Good News Club meetings, a mother asked what time she should return to pick up her children. We told her the time, and then enjoyed a blessed time together with the kids: we played games, sang songs, read from the Bible, and talked about how important it is to spend time in fellowship with God. We shared stories from the past week and learned from each other. When the mother returned — a sign that our time had come to an end — Adelin, one of the teenagers present, exclaimed in surprise:
“I can’t believe it… where did the time go?”
We’re grateful to be a blessing to the children we interact with. This summer, we are praying that the Lord will use us so that more and more children will have the chance to know the Lord Jesus as their Savior or grow in their faith.
Our plans for this summer include:
- Evangelistic programs for children and teenagers
- Distribution of tracts and Gospel booklets
- Training teachers for children’s ministry
- Involvement in the “Good News for Romania” project in Satu Mare
- Two weeks of camp for children and teenagers
To make these activities possible, we estimate needing a total of €6,000 to cover:
- The cost of sweets and materials for the children
- Financial support for children from families who cannot afford to send their children to camp
- Transportation costs and vehicle maintenance
