God is faithful
From 24-29 June we will be in camp in Câmpulung Moldovenesc with children from 3 places where we have Good News Clubs.
During the camp we will study with the children the events from the book of Esther. In this book God shows again to His children that He is in control, even when the circumstances of life seem totally adverse and the enemy seems to have the upper hand. We are also reminded of the importance of faith and faithfulness through characters like Mordecai and Esther.
We pray for such faithfulness for the children who will come to the camp.
For some children it will be their first camp, but most have had the opportunity to go to camp in the past. Some of them went with us to camp in Vatra Dornei last year. Here are two tesimonies from the camps:
P., a girl who came with us to camp for the first time wrote to us, “I didn’t expect it to be so nice at camp; it was a camp full of surprises and adventures”; and I., one of the boys who came to camp told us, “I liked many things but especially the food and the lessons I heard from the Word of God”
The children will only pay a part of the full cost of a camp. We pray to the God who is in control and who provides, often through the faithfulness of those who are His, to provide for each child to be able to attend.
