Travel agents have taught us to appreciate their “can’t refuse” offers. For months we wait for our dream holiday at a bargain price. If we somehow miss the opportunity, we’re left with some regret.
Planning for the summer months, we wonder if it will be the last opportunity for some children to attend a Christian camp, Vacation Bible School, or receive a booklet about the way of Salvation written especially for children to understand. Will we be sorry if we miss the opportunity to share the Gospel of Jesus this summer?
So that we don’t worry about missed opportunities, we want to organise two residential camps, one for 40 children and the other for 40 teenagers. We will also have three day camp programmes for Roma children and teenagers, a camp for Roma youth and a week of evangelism in a place where a young mother has recently returned to the Lord. Through our ministry, she has heard the Gospel since childhood.
It would be such an encouragement if you could participate with us in some of these programmes, but we know that is unlikely. However, as we are engaged in a spiritual warfare, we invite you to join us in prayer. In addition to this, we also need financial support. All of these programs need sponsorship. A child’s soul is worth more than all the riches of this world. May God reward your generosity!
