Dear friend of CEF,
As I am sure you know, Good News across Romania – Brasov 2016 has come to an end, but the echoes of what God did last week continue to sound out.
The following are some of the statistics from the week:
- 5 Day Clubs took place in 78 de locations
- 3,566 children took part in the Clubs
- 506 adults attended the programs
- there were over 200 volunteers from local churches in Brasov, throughout Romania and from other countries too
- 45 children asked God to forgive them from their sins
Such a project can change the lives of the volunteers and the church members who are involved. It also can be the means of changing the lives of many children. A pastor who took part last week, spoke to the group of volunteers on Friday evening and said,
I recommend that all church leaders take part in such a project. I have never been involved in something like this before.
Helen Keller said, “Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much!” This is exactly what one of the volunteers said at the end of the week:
If I had been on my own, I might have been able to reach 20 children with the Gospel, but together we were able to reach over 3,500 children. This is teamwork! May God be praised!
It is wonderful to see how God changes the lives of children. Below is one testimony from a child:
C had a bad reputation among the children in his class. At the beginning of the week, some of the boys said they were scared to come to Club if C was there too and asked their mum to come and sit at the back. At the end of the week, C quoted all 5 verses that he had learned throughout the week of by heart. It was amazing to see how God had worked in His life!
