During the 1990’s, the ministry of CEF Romania was led by a dear man called Tom Somerville. We learned a lot from him and he put many good solid foundations into the ministry, that we are still benefitting from today. He did many wonderful things so that children in Romania could hear the Gospel, but every time I see a lone flower, or hear of someone working faithfully without many striking results, I remember him saying, “Bloom where you are planted!”

Recently I was reminded of two ladies who knew how to make a difference in the place that God had put them and you know them too! Shiphrah and Puah! We read about them in the Bible in Exodus chapter 1. It is said of them, they “feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive.”

Tom, Shiphrah and Puah are wonderful examples of being used by God and being able to make a difference for future generations.

Thank you for following this principle too! You prayed and gave and made a difference!
