Where is our treasure?

Is it on earth or in heaven?

What are we doing? What is the aim of our lives?

Are we just living to accumulate money?

Or, are we trying to secure those treasures

which we can safely lay up in heaven,

becoming rich toward God?

I came across this quote recently by D L Moody about becoming rich toward God. What a wonderful picture! We can use “our” treasure to send a child to camp, to support a missionary, to help the needy and as we do learn that not we accumulate for ourselves matters, but what we can do for God. As His faithful stewards, are we looking for ways to use His money in a way that will advance His kingdom?

If you are on this site, likely you already know this to be true! Be encouraged today, every time you use the money that He has given you for His kingdom, He sees, He knows, He will bless what you are doing and satisfy you so much more than any accumulation of wealth on earth would ever do.
