Giving joy to those around us ...
Someone said: “Joy is not the absence of suffering, but the presence of God.” What a great truth, even in our times, when we hear of wars and other news that often frightens us. God’s presence brings joy in the lives of children who believe in Him.
CEF’s “For Every Child” Christmas Campaign 2023 is based on the desire to bring this great truth of JOY to every child. In this national campaign we will use a Bible lesson about JOY. The birth of our dear Saviour, Jesus Christ, brought true JOY to this earth, but many have not yet heard of it.
Our prayer is that we can bring the news of the Saviour’s birth to many children in Northwest Romania. We pray that they too will experience true JOY, given by the Lord Jesus Christ. Wanting to make sure things are well organized, we will be traveling extensively in the weeks ahead. At the same time, we want to prepare a gift for the children to make their joy even greater.
We will need €2,000 to cover the costs of the project in our area – would you like to help us bring the message of JOY to the children in the north-west of Romania?
