Talking to my Father
I never prayed…
I have no idea what prayer is…
My parents are of the opinion that prayer is useless because God does not exist…
I have a prayer book at home. I read one quickly and then that’s it over…
How sad it is that many children do not know and are not taught that they can talk to God! How sad it is that the parents and the children, do not answer God’s invitation to communicate with the Almighty!
On the other hand, it is wonderful for the Christian to be able to talk with his Creator. The Christian can communicate with The One that reigns over the entire Universe, on a regular basis
The importance of prayer!
We are meditating on the importance of prayer in the life of every man, and with this in mind we plan to reopen the Good News Clubs year. Our desire is to teach many boys and girls that they can talk to the Lord our God. Besides the teaching about salvation, love, forgiveness, holiness, righteousness, goodness, God’s promises, His grace, guidance, Bible reading, this year, we would like to emphasize more, the teaching about prayer.
The Christian child would be able to learn and experience that God is answering his prayers according to His will and when the time is right. He will learn about the reason why some prayers are not answered immediately or why others are not answered positively. He will also learn how to behave when it seems that God is not answering his prayers.
The unchristian child will learn about His need to tell God about his sinful life, that he needs to ask God to be his Savior and Lord and that he has to ask for forgiveness for what he did wrong. The unchristian child will be taught that he needs to pray for repentance and to live according to God’s will.

In order to be able to go to the GNC every week in September and October we need €550, for travelling expenses, for teaching materials and for other needs (you can ask for more details writing to us at amectimis@gmail.com).
You can either tell God about this need so that He will provide through His people or you can give as much as God is telling you to, so that He can work through the GNC ministry.
I pray but I don’t know if God can hear my prayer…
I pray every evening and thank God for everything He did for me that day…
I cried a lot as He did not answer my prayer, but eventually I understood why….
I am still waiting for God to answer some of my prayers and am anxious to see how He will work things out….
