We praise the Lord for the four years of ministry in county Hunedoara that we, as a family were able to do.
Along our weekly ministry, which means meeting up with children and young teenagers and teaching them the Good News, we also invest in other volunteers through the training courses and other meetings which take place every year.
Our plans for this spring include:
- March 8 (Mother’s Day in Romania) – Project for evangelising women (the goal is to give to 5000 women in our county the tract written specially for this event). In our town, Calan, we want to organise an event together with the young teenagers in our church, like the ones we had in the past years. We want to offer a small gift to 2000 women, gift that will remind them about God’s love for them.
- Two training seminaries: in Calan – March and April; in Valea Jiului – May and June. We pray for 50 young people to attend the training courses and to open Good News Clubs as a result.
- Easter Clubs. Our goal is to organise 10 Easter Clubs and to tell the children about The Good Shepherd, our Lord Jesus Christ. Also, we pray for 25 churches in our county to join us in this project, just like they did at Christmas, in December.
I am so happy to take this course. In our church there are few young people who have CEF training. We want to teach the children in Sunday School and for the summertime we want to have outdoor evangelistic events for the children in our town. This teaching will be of significant importance. I never received a present on Mother’s Day, said an older lady whom we offered a small present on Mother’s Day last year.
We pray that the ministry in our county will grow because of training and Easter Clubs. May the Lord work salvation in the lives of many children, may they get to know the Good Shepherd, as Lord.
We very much appreciate the Christians who support us in prayer and financially. They are a great encouragement for us, yet our needs are not fully covered.
The budget for the months of March, April and May is €4000 euro.
Please pray for the ministry in county Hunedoara and give towards the needs of the ministry – travel expenses, materials for GNCs, gifts for the Easter Clubs, and expenses for the two training courses.
